Today I am talking about promises.
God has many promises for believers in His word:
** He will supply our need. **
** His grace IS sufficient. **
And as marvelous as these are,
they are only a few of the promises found in His Word!
But I think one of my favorite {outside of eternal life} is found in…

I strayed… He called out.
I left… and He pursued.
I stole… and He forgave.
I lashed out… and He embraced.
I trembled, knowing my nakedness… and He draped a Royal Robe.
Now I love Him… because He first loved me.
{this is the Love Story of Calvary} and it can belong to ANYONE!

and be sure to let those you love know it!

sharing Jesus
As I was browsing my church-sermon-journal I came across this little note…
I do not really remember what the message was about that prompted me to write this, but every time I read over it, it strikes me again.
I have often heard that we must “share our faith” with others. And I wondered exactly what that meant.
Am I to tell people what God has done for me? Of course! But that is not my faith, that is God’s blessings!
Faith is something you live. Faith is what you DO.
You have faith —so you put that money in the offering plate.
You have faith —so you volunteer your time and resources to further His Work…even when it is inconvenient and will appear to not be noticed.
He is what we share.
He is the friend that sticks closer than a brother.
He is the comfort we can offer a hurting friend.
He is the hope we can give a lost soul.
He is the strength for those fallen under the weight of sin.
And those who need Him will not know Him…

Our printer is having issues, so I did not print this… nor did I have time to write it out. But I did send it to him so he could read it.
There is always more that I think after I’ve written my love a note like this… but since it wasn’t actually the last 5 minutes we would ever be together, I have said “I love you” several times since then. And I try make an effort to let him know something I appreciate about him every day!
This is a great exercise… I may do it again!!

I shared a status from my husband: Amazing lesson from my oldest daughter yesterday. She quoted I Cor 13:1 and said that God spoke to her through that verse. She says it means that if we do not show love to others all they see and hear are our words, and that gets annoying after a while, they have to see us love them. I felt like just having an invitation right then and there. Thanking the Lord for a daughter that is tender toward God.
