There are seasons in our domesticity just as the seasons of the year. So let’s savor the seasons in our homes… Enjoy each change as it comes and rest knowing that where we are now is not where we will always be.

Hello!
Welcome to this little peek into my world of struggles and studies and striving to be the woman God wants me to be for my husband [first] and children [next] and then friends and others [as they come into our lives].
I began blogging just over 3 years ago to try to help my parents, in-laws, and grandparents [plus aunts, great uncles, cousins, friends, etc.] know a little about what was going on in our lives. This place I live has become my home over the years, but it was a difficult journey in my heart for it to be so. When I started blogging, I felt a connection to all those I love who live all over the world. [but that is not THIS blog]
This blog was started over 2 1/2 years ago and was originally a private place for a friend and I to share our studies on being a better wife. We did this for one year-though neither of us were as faithful to “talk” as we had intended. But we both learned much about what the role of a wife SHOULD look like.
Then I realized that my struggles could possibly encourage others. And thus, the current version of this blog began. I love words but am not much of a talker. I prefer writing. I like to think about what I am saying [haha]. And, I need to give the Lord time to edit my posts {keeping a watch before my lips!}
My desire is to share thoughts God has laid on my heart about my own life that might possibly be an encouragement to someone else. I do like to share a good recipe or craft or childrens’ activity. I often have random {and somewhat rambling} thoughts which result in completely unrelated posts while also studying a series [currently Proverbs 31].
You can have a little closer look at my heart as well as learn a little more about my family
And my husband and I also enjoy photography, and are currently learning together [though at different paces].
